Main in Cream is the feature floral print from the Ashmere collection by Minki Kim for Riley Blake Designs - a beautiful mix of soft florals, warm colour and delicate background detail.
Loose floral bouquets are scattered across a creamy off-white background in shades of blush pink, coral, golden yellow, soft blue and leafy green. Look a little closer and you’ll see a subtle tonal hexagon pattern running behind the flowers, adding texture and interest without competing with the floral design.
I particularly love the mix of scale in this print. The larger bouquets make a beautiful feature in quilt blocks, bags and zipper pouches, while the smaller scattered flowers and leaves offer plenty of opportunities for fussy cutting.
