How to Use This Calculator:
Step 1: Choose Your Units

Step 2: Enter Your Quilt Dimensions. Enter the finished width and length of your quilt.​
Step 3: Review Binding Length Results
The Binding Length Calculator shows the Quilt Measurements, Binding Length Required and Total binding length needed. The calculator automatically includes 10 inches (25cm) extra for joining and finishing​
Step 4: Calculate Fabric Requirements. Adjust the Binding Strip Width to suit your requirements. The default is 2.5 inches (standard),​ but it can go up to 6 inches. Choose your Fabric Width from the dropdown menu and select your Cutting Method.
Step 5: View Fabric Requirements
The calculator shows the total Binding Length Needed and the amount of Fabric to purchase, plus a Shopping List with rounded amounts for easy purchasing.
