At first glance, this stripe looks like a Black and White stripe. In good light, it is a very dark navy called Midnight. The perfect stripe for your quilt binding.
 
The final step in the quilting and binding process just became a treat! Sublime Stitchery Bias Binding takes all the hard work out of preparing binding. You can start sewing your binding on straight away!
Sublime Stitchery Bias Binding is custom cut and folded. That means you order the width, fold and length (in ¹/₂ metre / 20" increments) of binding you need for your project. 
 
For example, the most popular quilt binding would require about an 8 metre length of 2 ¹/₄" width binding, folded in half. Or perhaps you prefer 2 ¹/₂" wide binding.
 
Other projects require double fold bias binding. This is where a 2" wide fabric strip is cut on the bias then the two long raw edges are folded to meet in the centre and then folded in half again. This results in a 1/2" bias tape suitable for edging smaller sewing projects.
 
Joins in fabric are at 45° and the ¹/₈" stripes are matched as best as possible.
