A clever way to make accurate patchwork easier! Bosal Quilter’s 1” Grid Fusible Interfacing takes the fiddly work out of piecing small fabric squares, helping you create beautifully aligned patchwork with less measuring, pinning and seam matching.
 
This lightweight, single-sided fusible interfacing features a pre-printed 1” grid, making it particularly useful for watercolour quilts, Bargello designs, pixel quilts and other small-scale patchwork projects.
Simply arrange your fabric squares on the grid, fuse them into position and sew along the gridlines. The interfacing holds your fabric pieces in place while you stitch, helping you achieve consistent seams and neatly aligned intersections.
 
It’s particularly handy when working with lots of small squares or creating intricate designs where accurate placement makes all the difference.
 
Made from 100% polyester, this lightweight, non-woven interfacing adds stability without unnecessary bulk.
 
How Does It Work?
The printed grid acts as a guide for positioning and sewing your fabric squares.
Cut your interfacing to the size required for your project.
Arrange your fabric squares on the fusible side, using the printed gridlines as a guide.
Fuse the squares into position, following the manufacturer’s instructions.
Fold and stitch along the gridlines using a ¼” seam allowance.
Clip and press the seam allowances at the intersections before sewing in the opposite direction.
 
The result is neatly aligned patchwork without having to piece each square individually.
 
Handy tips:
When using 1” fabric squares with a ¼” seam allowance, your finished squares will measure ½”. Perfect for detailed miniature patchwork and pixel-style designs!
