Retro Circle by Marion Mège - Retro Floral Cotton Fabric
A little bit retro, a little bit Scandinavian, and very sweet - Retro Circle pairs tiny floral motifs with a beautifully muted colour palette.
Designed by French illustrator and textile designer Marion Mège in collaboration with Deco Collections, the print features petite orange flowers and simple grey-green leaves tucked inside soft cream circles. These repeating motifs sit against a smoky blue-green background with fine vertical linework, adding another subtle layer of texture to the design.
Marion Mège is a Lyon-based designer and founder of Les manies de Marion. After working for eight years as an art director, she established her own design studio in 2014. Her work is known for its poetic, gentle and refined style, with flowers being one of her favourite sources of inspiration.
Retro Circle has that lovely vintage-meets-modern quality that makes it easy to mix with other fabrics. The small scale is particularly useful for quilting and patchwork, where the circles and tiny flowers will remain visible even when cut into smaller pieces.
It’s also a fabulous fabric for zipper pouches and bag making. The repeating pattern would make a lovely pouch exterior, while those tiny orange flowers would be such a sweet detail peeking out as a lining.

If machine washing is your preferred method, we suggest using a mild, bleach-free detergent (like Soak) in cold water with similar colours on a gentle cycle. Dry on a low-heat tumble setting to minimise shrinkage.
