Dreamy Drop by Tohu-Bohu - Cotton Fabric
Dreamy Drop is a soft and expressive abstract cotton fabric designed by French graphic and textile design studio Tohu-Bohu in collaboration with Deco Collections.
Watercolour shapes drift across a fresh white background in a beautifully calming palette of soft blue, aqua, apricot and peach. The irregular forms overlap and flow across the fabric, while tiny hand-drawn marks, leaves and botanical details are tucked amongst them, adding another layer of interest to the design.
There’s something wonderfully free and painterly about Dreamy Drop. The translucent colour and imperfect shapes give it the feeling of an artist’s watercolour sketchbook - contemporary and playful, but still soft enough to coordinate easily with other fabrics.
For quilting and patchwork, Dreamy Drop is a fantastic alternative to a traditional floral or geometric print. Its abstract design will break up more structured patterns within a quilt, while the mix of warm apricot and cool blue gives you plenty of colours to draw from when building a palette. The relatively small scale also means you’ll capture plenty of the design within individual patchwork pieces.
It would be equally lovely for zipper pouches, project bags and other accessories, as well as children’s projects, cushions and homewares.

Sublime Stitchery always recommends handwashing with mild, bleach-free detergent, like Soak and hang-dry all cotton fabrics for best results. If machine washing is your preferred method, we suggest using a mild, bleach-free detergent (like Soak) in cold water with similar colours on a gentle cycle. Dry on a low-heat tumble setting to minimise shrinkage.
Colours are represented as accurately as possible, however, due to differences in lighting and screen settings, colours may differ slightly between photos and the physical product.
