Soft, delicate and beautifully vintage, Freesia in Cream is a lightweight cotton lawn from the Nostalgia Collection, printed on an unbleached cotton base for a wonderfully natural finish.
Small sprays of rust coloured freesia flowers and fine, dusky mauve-brown foliage are scattered across a cream background. Look a little closer and you’ll see a subtle tonal texture running through the ground, giving the fabric even more of that softly aged, vintage textile feel.
The small scale of the floral makes Freesia particularly lovely for quilting and patchwork, where the detail won’t disappear when cut into smaller pieces. Its lightweight lawn construction also makes it a beautiful choice for garments, delicate accessories, linings and projects where you want a softer, lighter cotton.
The unbleached base is part of the character of this fabric. Natural variations, including occasional neps, slubs and subtle irregularities in colour, may be visible and can vary between batches. Rather than being considered faults, these are characteristics of the minimally processed base cloth and contribute to its natural, nostalgic appearance.

If machine washing is your preferred method, we suggest using a mild, bleach-free detergent (like Soak) in cold water with similar colours on a gentle cycle. Dry on a low-heat tumble setting to minimise shrinkage.
