Heirloom Hydrangea by Sevenberry Fabrics
Soft, romantic and just a touch nostalgic, Heirloom Hydrangea is a beautiful floral printed on natural unbleached cotton.
Generous clusters of hydrangea-style blooms overlap across the fabric in raspberry, dusty pink, blush and cream, interspersed with deep blue-green leaves and delicate sketched foliage. Rather than being printed on a stark white base, the natural unbleached cotton gives the background a warm creamy tone and a slightly more relaxed, vintage feel.
I love the combination of the more substantial floral scale with the finer line-drawn details. It would make a gorgeous feature fabric in a quilt, while smaller cuts reveal completely different combinations of flowers and colour - perfect for zipper pouches, bags and other accessories.
The cotton itself has undergone minimal processing and retains the natural colour and character of the fibre. Its slightly open weave creates a fabric that is lightweight and breathable while remaining durable. It also has the soft, natural texture that makes unbleached cotton particularly lovely to work with.
Perfect for: quilts and patchwork, zipper pouches and bags, fabric baskets, accessories, cushions and other home décor projects.
As unbleached cotton retains more of the natural character of the fibre, subtle variations in colour and texture may be present.

Sublime Stitchery always recommends handwashing with mild, bleach-free detergent, like Soak and hang-dry all cotton fabrics for best results. If machine washing is your preferred method, we suggest using a mild, bleach-free detergent (like Soak) in cold water with similar colours on a gentle cycle. Dry on a low-heat tumble setting to minimise shrinkage.
