Pink Pear by Sandrine Djellil - Cotton Fabric
Pink Pear is a playful fruit print designed by French pattern designer and illustrator Sandrine Djellil in collaboration with Deco Collections.
Sweet little pears are scattered across a very pale blush pink background in a mix of vivid raspberry pink, soft pink and peach. Tiny green and blue leaves are dotted between the fruit, while the occasional pair of pears adds another charming detail to the design.
The simple shapes, fresh colours and generous space between the motifs give Pink Pear a lovely retro-inspired feel without making the print too busy.
For quilting and patchwork, this is a wonderfully versatile small-scale print. The soft background gives it some of the qualities of a low-volume fabric, while those bright pink pears provide enough colour and personality to stand out in individual quilt blocks. It would be particularly fun mixed with stripes, checks, florals and coordinating solids in a scrappy quilt.
Pink Pear would also be gorgeous for zipper pouches, project bags and other accessories, as well as children’s clothing, dresses, cushions and home sewing projects.

Sublime Stitchery always recommends handwashing with mild, bleach-free detergent, like Soak and hang-dry all cotton fabrics for best results. If machine washing is your preferred method, we suggest using a mild, bleach-free detergent (like Soak) in cold water with similar colours on a gentle cycle. Dry on a low-heat tumble setting to minimise shrinkage.
Colours are represented as accurately as possible, however, due to differences in lighting and screen settings, colours may differ slightly between photos and the physical product.
