Faded Posies by Sevenberry Fabrics
There is something beautifully nostalgic about Faded Posies by Sevenberry. Tiny bouquets of pink and white flowers are scattered across a soft, barely-there background, with muted green foliage and touches of warm yellow adding just enough colour.
The slightly faded quality of the print gives it the feel of a vintage fabric discovered in a sewing box - pretty and romantic without being overly fussy.
With its small-scale floral design, this is an especially useful print for quilting and patchwork. The petite bouquets will hold their detail when cut into smaller pieces and would also be lovely for fussy cutting. I can see this working beautifully in traditional quilt blocks, scrappy quilts, zipper pouches, fabric baskets and other small sewing projects. It would also make a gorgeous zipper pouch lining - that unexpected pretty print when you open the zip.
Made in Japan by Sevenberry, this is a lightweight 100% cotton at approximately 115 gsm.
Perfect for: quilting and patchwork, fussy cutting, zipper pouches and linings, bags, fabric baskets, small accessories and other sewing projects.

Sublime Stitchery always recommends handwashing with mild, bleach-free detergent, like Soak and hang-dry all cotton fabrics for best results. If machine washing is your preferred method, we suggest using a mild, bleach-free detergent (like Soak) in cold water with similar colours on a gentle cycle. Dry on a low-heat tumble setting to minimise shrinkage.
