Savage Garden - Cotton Fabric
Savage Garden is a delicate botanical cotton fabric filled with tiny wildflowers and leafy sprigs, as though they have been freshly sketched from flowers growing in a meadow.
Small yellow blooms and soft green foliage are scattered across a clean white background, creating a fresh, light design with plenty of breathing space. Some flowers appear as individual stems while others gather into dainty bouquets, giving the print a lovely natural rhythm.
The small scale and simple colour palette make Savage Garden especially versatile for quilting and patchwork. It would work beautifully as a gentle low-volume print, quilt background or coordinating fabric, while still having enough colour and detail to add interest. Sublime Stitchery always recommends handwashing with mild, bleach-free detergent, like Soak and hang-dry all cotton fabrics for best results. If machine washing is your preferred method, we suggest using a mild, bleach-free detergent (like Soak) in cold water with similar colours on a gentle cycle. Dry on a low-heat tumble setting to minimise shrinkage.
Colours are represented as accurately as possible, however, due to differences in lighting and screen settings, colours may differ slightly between photos and the physical product.
